Damian was MY favorite saint too! We had Holy Reading every Tuesday evening in convent school. You had to pick a book from the Holy Library (books about lives of saints) and HIS book was definitely the best. I remember how he used to shake out his shoes before putting them on in case a scorpion had wandered in.
